ARA-290
Phase 2aka Cibinetide
EPO-derived peptide for nerve pain and tissue protection, minus the blood-thickening.
Mechanism
An 11-amino-acid piece of erythropoietin's helix-B region. It hits the innate repair receptor for tissue protection but skips EPO's effect on red blood cells, so you get the repair signalling without the hematocrit risk. And it's actually in proper trials, unlike most research peptides.
Regulatory & Safety Status
Investigational and not approved, but it has reached early clinical trials, which puts it ahead of most of this list.
