Ipamorelin

Research compound

aka NNC 26-0161

The clean GH secretagogue. Bumps growth hormone without spiking cortisol or prolactin.

Mechanism

Hits the ghrelin/GH-secretagogue receptor and triggers a natural pulse of growth hormone. The selling point is selectivity: you get the GH pulse without the cortisol and prolactin mess the older GHRPs cause. That's why it's the default now, usually run with CJC-1295.

Regulatory & Safety Status

Never made it to market. Clinical development was dropped, so it's a research chemical. Used widely in the GH-peptide crowd regardless.
